For some, it seems like the pandemic is mostly over, with everyday routines restored. For us, that's not the case at LSS Faith as we are still following CDC guidelines for congregate living. That means every day 27 men grab a mattress and drag it to their assigned spot in a waiting room, lounge/flex space or hallway in order to get ready for bed and hopefully a good night's sleep. Their belongings remain in our dining room, which isn't seeing diners these days. Although it's not ideal, we are happy we can make these changes to allow for social distancing, so we can continue to provide safe shelter to about 250 people each night.
