People come to LSS at different stages in their lives and for different reasons. Each person’s story is unique. We strive to meet our clients, residents, volunteers, partners and donors where they are in life and serve them as individuals so that their lives may be fulfilled. Robert has lived at Mt Pleasant Place, an LSS senior affordable housing community in Lancaster, for two years. Before retiring, he owned a convenience store and also worked in logistics and trucking. Since moving in, Robert picks up food for other residents at the LSS Fairfield County Food Pantry and also brings fresh produce from various local locations during the warmer months.
