Needed Items for LSS Faith Mission and CHOICES

Each year, Faith Mission and CHOICES provide approximately 3,000 people shelter and care. Your donations of needed items help to provide our residents with a dignified and welcoming environment while they work on finding permanent housing.

General Info

Donated items can be dropped off at the Shelter Donation Center, 217 N. Grant Ave. in Columbus, at the McKee Alley door (see map).

The Donation Center is currently open Mondays, Fridays and second Saturdays of the month from 12:00-3:00 p.m. and by appointment (excluding holidays). Please note we are closed May 29, 2023 for Memorial Day.

Donated items are directed to the LSS program with the greatest need.  We accept only new or unused items unless otherwise noted.

Are you planning a donation drive?  Please contact us first to find out what items are most needed on a larger scale!

Watch our video on the in-kind donation process to learn more about how we put your material donations to work as well as our philosophy on providing needed items to clients.

Please do not leave donations unattended outside of the donation center.  For health and safety reasons, these items will have to be discarded. Please also do not distribute donations directly to residents on or around the Faith Mission campus. All items should be received and distributed by staff.
