Addiction Treatment

Addiction impacts many within our community on different levels. LSS Health Center offers alcohol and drug treatment services for individuals experiencing substance use. As a part of our integrated behavioral health program, substance abuse screenings are conducted on all patients and will open up dialogue about potential need for treatment services.

Addiction treatment services include:

  • Assessment
  • Individual counseling
  • Support groups
  • Referral and linkage to intensive and inpatient services
  • Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is one of the most effective evidenced-based treatments for opioid addiction and opioid use disorder. The goals of our program are to increase access to treatment within our community, and to increase the success of sustained remission and long-term recovery.

The model integrates medications that treat opioid use disorder into a primary care setting and allows patients to readily access comprehensive medical and addiction services under one roof. It enables providers to treat addiction along with other chronic medical conditions experienced by their patients.

Our treatment team consists of a licensed independent social worker, recovery counselor, case manager, nurse practitioner and medical doctor.
