Per Governor DeWine’s directives, The Good Shepherd will be closed to visitors effective Friday, March 13, 2020 at 8:00 p.m.
We will continue to follow the current guidelines and allow one immediate family member per resident to visit on Friday, March 13 through 8:00 p.m. Exceptions to this directive are allowed for emergencies and life care situations.
We realize this is going to be a very difficult time for both residents and families. Please continue to call your loved ones. If your family member needs help using a phone, call into the facility and request a staff member’s assistance.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work together to keep your loved ones safe.

“I love it here,” says Nancy, who has resided at LSS The Good Shepherd (TGS) for a year. “They are nice people. It’s really true.”
With numerous health issues, including kidney and heart disease, and her daughter in Tennessee, Nancy’s doctor said it was time for extended care. After investigating possibilities in Ohio and Tennessee, Nancy and her daughter determined that TGS was the number one option.
In addition to the excellent care, friendly staff and great food, Nancy enjoys the home-like atmosphere. “I love the fireplace! At Christmas it was great.” She also appreciates the breadth of activities. She plays bingo and cards and watches western movies. Nancy and her daughter are happy they found TGS.
