Columbus is a vibrant, growing city, but with<\/span> the increase in population and needed housing<\/span> comes increasing rents, a lack of safe and affordable housing, and more people suffering with the effects of living in poverty.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

From 2021 to 2022, homelessness in Columbus increased 22%<\/strong>. In 2023, 7,865 <\/span>people received shelter through the emergency shelter system, while many <\/span>more lived on the streets<\/span> or moved from place to place without a stable place to sleep.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
